East Breakwall Beach, Lorain Harbor

A popular north-facing spot on the east side of Lorain Harbor near Lakeside Landing / Chelsea Beach — enjoyed by surfers, kayakers, paddleboarders, and boaters alike. A shallow nearshore shelf causes waves to build when strong northeast winds push across Lake Erie's long fetch, with NE winds in the 15–30 knot range producing the biggest waves.
