We’re proud to share that the Lorain Port and Finance Authority has been recognized with the 2026 Robert J. Lewis Pacesetter Award!
Presented by the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, the Pacesetter Award recognizes U.S. Great Lakes ports that increased their international cargo tonnage through the St. Lawrence Seaway compared with the previous year.
The award was presented during AGLPA 2026 in Chicago, where Lorain joined six other Great Lakes ports receiving this year’s recognition.
This achievement reflects continued growth at the Port of Lorain and the important role our port plays in supporting commerce, industry, and economic development throughout Lorain and the Great Lakes region.
We’re proud to represent Lorain alongside ports from across the Great Lakes and look forward to continuing that momentum.
