The Lorain Port Authority is seeking a strategic and results-driven professional to lead economic development initiatives, oversee property development for site readiness, and support business attraction and retention efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development & redevelopment of port properties, with a focus on the maritime industry
• Identify and manage grant opportunities for economic growth
• Develop strategies to attract target industries and businesses
• Maintain and promote available sites for development
• Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to enhance economic programs
Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Economics, Planning, Real Estate, or a related field
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local grant programs
• Experience in economic development, site readiness, and government relations
• Strong relationship-building and community engagement skills
